Get a Library Card

Any person who lives, works, attends school, or pays property taxes in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is eligible to receive a library card free of charge.

Patrons must provide a photo ID to verify current address. Valid IDs include drivers license, state ID, passport, student ID or work ID. If ID does not have current mailing address, another proof of address may be required such as personal check or mail.  Positive identification for children can be provided by the parent or guardian.

It is helpful for library metrics if each family member registers for their own library card. Your library card is free. The Southborough Library offers free replacement cards. Southborough Library cards are valid at all consortium libraries in the Central/Western Massachusetts region (CW MARS). See also: Get a CW MARS Library Cardhttps://www.cwmars.org/cwmars_card. See also CW MARS Policieshttps://www.cwmars.org/cwmars_policies.

The default PIN number for patrons is the last 4-digits of the phone number that you registered with.

If you are unable to log in and renew online, please call 508-485-5031 and a staff member will assist you. Please e-mail rdonovan@cwmars.org with any library account related issues, such as expired accounts.
