Library Trustees are entrusted with overseeing, maintaining, advocating for, and planning the future of the public library. The six-member board meets on a monthly basis, on the third Tuesday of each month, at 5:00 p.m. at the Library.
This replacement will be an appointment by the joint Board of Library Trustees and the Selectmen, effective until the next Town election in May of 2011. At that time, the appointed candidate would have to run for election if s/he wished to stay in the position for the next three-year term.

Hi, The trustee position was filled just before I received your comment…I do believe positions become available, on a rotating basis, at the end of each Trustee’s term…I did receive your materials and will keep them on hand. -jc
