Meeting Rooms

PLEASE NOTE:  Effective July 1, 2011, all tutors must sign in with the Library Director and reserve meeting room space on the lower level of the library for tutoring sessions. Due to complaints about the noise level in our reading rooms, tutoring is not to be done on the main floor of the Library.

Meeting Room Hours:
Monday,  Friday, and Saturday ~ 10 AM to 4:45 PM
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ~ 10:00 AM to 8:45 PM

The Ella Eaton Room ~ Capacity: 35
Projection screen, chairs, tables and kitchen available if requested. Equipment, utensils and supplies not provided.
The Trustees Room ~ Capacity: 25
Conference table and chairs for eight, additional table and chairs may be requested.

The meeting rooms at the Southborough Public Library are available without charge to local, non-profit groups for educational, informational or cultural meetings or programs. No meeting is allowed that promotes any business or commercial activity.

All meetings and programs must be open to the public without charge regardless of whether an individual is a member of the organization. All groups requesting use of the Eaton or Trustees Room must fill out an application form provided by the library and must indicate a person of legal age (18) who will be responsible for the room.

Use of the meeting rooms for library purposes will take precedence over all other reservations. To allow flexibility for library sponsored events, the library administration reserves the right to reschedule or cancel room reservations. Every effort will be made to avoid such cancellations and as much advanced notice as possible will be given.

Those using meeting rooms in the evening are asked to be ready to leave by 8:45 p.m., to avoid keeping staff later than 9:00 p.m. when the library closes. We appreciate your cooperation.
