by jane on April 9, 2010

The Southborough Public Library Genealogy Club will explore house histories at the monthly meeting on Thursday, April 22, at 7:00 p.m.

You can research the history of your house whether it is 20 years old or 150 years old. Marian Pierre-Louis, principal researcher for Fieldstone Historic Research, will speak on how to find deeds to a house, chain a deed and locate other sources of information such as the U.S. federal census records.

This talk is appropriate for both beginners and experienced researchers. The Southborough Library Genealogy Club meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings are at the Library, 25 Main Street in Southborough. Call the Library to register or for more information, at 508-485-5031. This talk is sponsored by the Southborough Cultural Arts Council.

Gather up your family history notebook and join us  – Thursday, April 22 – and learn more about researching house histories.
