A message from the Friends of the Southborough Lbrary…Our summer meetings have been a great success! Thank you to all of the new members who joined us. We are busy planning new programs and events for next year, and are delighted to have fresh ideas.
At our annual meeting in June, we elected Beth Melo as our new president. Assisting Beth will be Vice President Nicole De Bonet, Treasurer Prudence Webster, Corresponding Secretary Valerie Lefavour and Recording Secretary Lois Seltzer.
The new board hasn’t wasted time in putting its new members to work. According to the new president, “We learned that our used book store is an undiscovered treasure for many of the library’s visitors. We’ve decided to open the store during special summer events.” A sign will be posted outside the Book Sale Room to announce times the room is open.
