FRIDAY June 25 – Genealogy Club Meeting – the 1940 Census, presented by NARA

by jane on June 17, 2010

We are fortunate to have as our guest speaker, Ms. Jean Nudd, of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) office, who will tell us all about the 1940 Federal Census that will become available to the public in 2012.  Census records can tell you a lot about your ancestor’s family dynamics, occupation, neighborhoods, ethnic origins and more.  Come and learn more about the 1940 census.  NOTE:  The meeting is on a Friday night this month, to accommodate Ms. Nudd’s speaking schedule. Genealogy Club meetings at the Southborough Public Library are free and open to the public – bring a friend or a relative, too!
