All donations to the library are tax-deductible.

The Southborough Library Fund is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) fund under the umbrella of the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts.
 
Donations to the Southborough Library Fund are used for items often outside the library's municipal budget, including any potential capital improvements.

The Friends of the Southborough Library
 
The Friends help to fund multiple ongoing projects & services outside the library's municipal budget, including youth programming intiatives and free/reduced passes to local area museums.

Material Donations
 
The Southborough Library accepts new and gently used books, and limited quantities of other types of materials, including DVDs. Please donate material that is free from mildew, mold, and/or water damage.
 
Donated items may be added to the library's collection. Items are often used in the tri-annual book sales which are fundraisers for the library coordinated by The Friends of the Southborough Library.
 
All items donated to the library must be physically dropped off on-site. Please call the library at 508-485-5031 before you drop off items, especially for large donations.
