May Events in the Children's Room
Preschool Story Time This story time is for children age 2-5 years and their parents or caregivers. Each week will feature stories and a craft based on a theme. Drop-in, no registration required.
10:30 AMMondays: May 1, 8, 15 and 22;
Tuesday: May 2, 16, 23 and 30;
Wednesdays: May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.
Baby & Toddler Time for infants to 2-year-olds and their families: 11:00 AM on Thursdays. Each session will include puppets, stories, and music. Drop-in, no registration required.May 4, 11, 18, and 25.
Legos at the Library Build with LEGOs on Thursday, May 11, from 3:45-5:00 PM, at the library. This month the children will be making mosaic dragons. Ages 4 and up are welcome, with a parent or caregiver. No registration is required.
Young Scientists On Tuesdays in May, from 11:30-12:30 PM, there will be a special enrichment program facilitated by STEM Beginnings. Children, ages 3-5, with a parent/caregiver will learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities. Registration is required. May 2, 16, 23, and 30.
Friday, May 12, 10:30 AM We invite you to join members of the team from your local Bright Horizons for a morning art session specifically designed for Preschool and Kindergarten Prep aged children.
Art Workshop for Children
Saturday, May 6 & 13, from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM
Children can make Woodpecker Door Knockers. This program is in two parts and children must be registered for both programs. This program is for children ages 5-9 years old. Contact the Children's Room for more information.
